Menefee to Be Named Interim La Grange City Manager

The La Grange City Council voted on Monday, Aug. 8, to appoint Frank Menefee as interim city manager effective Sept. 16.

Menefee currently serves as the assistant city manager and fire chief. La Grange City Manager Shawn Raborn will retire at the end of next month. Raborn’s last day in the office will be Sept. 16. Menefee will take over day-to-day operations of the City at that point.

At a meeting on July 11, the City Council voted to hire the firm Government Professional Solutions to assist the City in hiring a new city manager.
