McHazlett Gets New Three-Year Contract

After a lengthy closed session, which included the evaluation of Superintendent Andy McHazlett, the board voted to extend and approve a three year contract with a 5% increase to him as superintendent of schools for La Grange ISD effective 1/21/26.

New hires for the district include: Kyler Buzek-middle school educational aide and Cheri Demel-elementary school educational aide.

Resignations and/or terminations include: Katey Crowley-elementary school teacher /instructional specialist, Kayley Brooks-elementary school nurse, Alandra Maldonado-high school educational aide, Scott Shaffermiddle school educational aide.
