Man Arrested for Cattle Theft

The Austin County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Fayetteville man for stealing 11 head of cattle. According to a report from the Austin County Sheriff’s Office, the Four County Auction Center in Industry reported the theft of 11 cattle on August 16.

Deputies responded and an investigation ensued. The report said investigators gathered enough evidence to charge Justin Wayne Krebs, 36 of Fayetteville, with felony theft of cattle. Austin Co. Sheriff’s investigators arrested Krebs without incident last Tuesday, Sept. 5. The Texas and Southwest Cattle Raisers Association assisted with the investigation.
