Louisiana Man Arrested After Traffic Stop

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that in the early morning hours of Monday, Aug. 21, Deputy Arrison initiated a traffic stop on Highway 71 in the La Grange area for a traffic violation. During a consent search of the vehicle Deputy Arrison located a small baggie containing Methamphetamine and a smoking pipe for it.

Arrested was Lance Fontenot, 47, of Lake Charles, La., for the offense of Possession of Controlled substance Penalty Group 1 between 1 and 4 grams. Fontenot was transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center and released into the custody of the Jail staff.
