Local Ladies Honored With Christmas Dinner

Every year Jeff and Sheila Kelly host a Ladies Christmas Dinner to let the ladies within our community know how special they are. This years excellent dinner was held at La Marina Restaurant on Thursday evening, December 14. “A big ‘Thank You’ to the restaurant for making this gathering possible. Not only was the food delicious and the conversations nonstop, but several of the ladies, individually, honored the group with their beautiful voices singing Christmas carols and inspiring hymns,” said Karen Forest. Mr. Kelly is President of Fayette County Helpers, FCH, a non-profit organization started over 20 years ago. “Many good works have benefitted La Grange and other Fayette County communities throughout the years, especially programs for the youth,” Forest said.
