Littrell to Resign from Council

On the agenda for the Monday 6 p.m. April 10 La Grange city council meeting, there is an item that says: “Acceptance of resignation of Dustin Littrell as Councilmember for Ward 3, with a term expiring May 2024.”

Additionally, the council will “Discuss and/or Consider the application procedure and timelines to fill the newly vacated Council position in Ward 3 until the May 2024 General Election.”

In 2021 Littrell was appointed to that Ward 3 spot after former Jan Dockery vacated that seat when she won the election for mayor.
