Library Offering Adult Photography Class
The Round Top Family Library is open Monday from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday– Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Here’s a look at the free programs offered by the library during the month of June: Yoga in the library every Monday at 5 p.m., Preschool story time Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m., Chess Club Wednesdays at 1 p.m., Homeschool Playdate June 21 at 10 a.m., and “Snake Man,” Clint Pustejovsky June 22 at 4 p.m.
A free adult photography class is scheduled for Monday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bring your camera or phone and learn how to take better photos.
RTFL is teaming up with the Fayette County Community Theatre for a summer theater program with instructor, Melissa Weltner. This is for kids ages 10 and up. The group will meet Mondays and Wednesdays in June and July from 2:30 to 5 p.m., excluding June 1-9, and July 1-7. Registration required. Camp Shakespeare
Camp Shakespeare will perform The Winter’s Tale at the Windale Historic Center Barn on Sunday, June 25 at 2 p.m. An additional performance will be given at the La Grange Performing Arts Center at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 24. Tickets are $10, children 12 and under are free. Make a note, performances of Romeo and Juliet will be on July 15 and 16. For reservations please contact robingracesoto@ utexas.edu.
Local Events
Now through this Sunday, June 18, come out to Cisco Village at 1350 N Hwy. 237 for the “Feel Good Marketplace” for some unique finds and good vibes. Every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local vendors will have an assortment of different clothing, jewelry, art, furniture, food vendors and much more. Grab a drink from the Crown Bar and do some shopping. This event will occur again July 20-23, Aug. 17-20, and Sept. 21-24.
The Stone Cellar will have The Broken Group performing Friday at 7 p.m., Sean Orr’s Texas Gold Trio Saturday at 7 p.m., and DeAnna Wendolyn Sunday at 4 p.m.
Over at Busted Oaks Cellars catch DarrelApplet Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., Trey Yenger June 17 from 4 to 7 p.m., and Les Cousines Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
You can also enjoy live music every Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer at Round Top Brewery.
Round Top Rifle Hall
Monday Night Hamburger Social takes place the first, second and third Mondays each month starting at 5:30 p.m. The signature menu item is a delicious, hearty hamburger, fixed just the way you like it. The Rooster is a breaded chicken sandwich with a tangy “special sauce.” Hotdogs or chili dogs are another favorite, along with fries or onion rings. All proceeds benefit the continued improvement of the RTRA.

Town of Round Top
Regular Council meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. Meetings are held at the Town Hall located at 100 Main Street unless otherwise posted. Citizens are encouraged and welcome to attend. Agendas are posted on the website at www.townofroundtop. org at least 72 hours prior to the meeting time.
Round Top-Carmine ISD

Sunday, June 25, there will be a performance ofAPatriot’s Heart at 2 p.m. This performance traces the history of the American spirit and will feature professional actress and author, Mary Margaret Mann, with Vicki Sue Wehmeyer accompanying. The next meeting for the Round Top Sons of Hermann will be held June 28.
Historical Society
The RTAHS museum has free admission every second Saturday of the month from 1 to 4 p.m. Take the opportunity to view three historic homes and a historic church. Private tours are welcome.

Festival Hill
The summer music series is underway. The Master Classes for this week are as follows: Viktor Valvov on piano Friday at 1:30 p.m., and Musicpainting Ensemble Friday at 7:30 p.m., Brass Showcase Saturday at 1:30 p.m., followed by the Chamber Music Concert at 3:30 p.m., and the Orchestra Concert at 7:30 p.m.
