LHS Class of 1953 Holds 70th Reunion

Thirteen members of the class of 1953 of La Grange High School celebrated the 70th anniversary of their graduation at the Sealand Seafood and Steaks restaurant in La Grange Oct. 21. Members enjoyed three hours of fellowship, visitation and catching up on past class memories, and member achievements. There are 31 remaining classmates of the sixty-one class members. The reunion organizers were recognized and consisted of Gloria Baca Merwin, Jo Ann Albers Mueller, Lucille Blume Strickland, J. Weldon Koenig, and G.R. Thurman. It was agreed to meet again next year for the 71st reunion.
