La Grange Police Chief

La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week ofJuly 24-31.

Road Rage

On July 27, Keeney responded to the 800 block of N. Eckel in response to an incidentof road rage.

Animal Complaint

On July 25, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. St. Hwy. 71 Business in response to an animal complaint.

On July 27, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 1000 block of N. Franklin in responseto an animal complaint.On July 28, Keeney responded to the 400 block of E. Travis in response to a dog in ablack car.

Child Locked in Vehicle

On July 30, Officer Justin Koehne responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a child locked in a vehicle. The vehicle was unlockedwhen officer arrived.

Criminal Mischief

On July 25, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Upperline in response to criminal mischief.

Citizen Assist

On July 30, Officer Kevin Currington spoke with a citizen in the 100 block of S. Lynwoodabout a missing person.

Civil Matter

On July 24, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block ofE. Reed for a civil matter.

Counterfeit Money

On July 25, Officer Robin Emmons responded to the 400block of E Travis for a subject that attempted to pass a one hundred dollar counterfeit bill.

Alarm

On July 26, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 2100 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in response to an alarm. Officer checked the business and found it to be secured.

On July 27, Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Jefferson in response to an alarm. Residence was found tobe secure.

Disturbance

On July 24, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy.159 for a disturbance.

On July 25, Maxwell was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Horton in response to a family disturbance. One subject was arrested for outstanding warrants.

On July 27, Keeney responded to the 1000 block of N. Madison in response to a disturbance.

On July 28, Emmons responded to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy.71 Highway for a disturbance with a customer.

On July 30, Currington was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Madison for a subject bangingon walls. Officer spoke with subject who advised he would stop.

On July 30, Maxwell was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Eblin in response to suspicious circumstances. Caller had heard a loud noise.

Harassment

On July 29, Koehne spoke with complainant in the 500 block of W. Lowerline for a dispute with the neighbor.

Missing Person

On July 29, Koehne spoke with a complainant in the 500 block of W. Lowerline for a possible missing person.

Reckless Driving

On July 25, Wostarek was dispatched to the 600 block of E. Eblin in response to a reckless driver. Officer searched the area and did not locate the reckless driver.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

On July 24, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 500 block of E. Fannin in response to someone knocking on her door so hard it knocked things off the wall. Officer checked the location but did not locate anyone inthe area.On July 24, Meinardus responded to the 1400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for asuspicious person.

Theft

On July 29, Emmons responded to the 1900 block of E.State Hwy.71 for theft.

Welfare Check

On July 25, Emmons responded to the 1000 block of N. Madison for a subject yelling and throwing items up againstthe wall.
