LG Street Paving to Begin Soon
In many areas of La Grange, the streets are a patchwork – dirt here and paving there.
The work is a remnant of water and sewer line improvements that began way back in early 2021, but the work has not yet been paved back over.
“Residents want their street fixed and we want their streets fixed,” said interim city manager Frank Menefee.
Menefee said the paving contractor should be back to complete paving beginning in late October, and the paving will take about two months. Then the streets should be good as new. The areas affected include N. Main, W. Fannin, N. Washington, Northline St, W. Guadalupe and N. River among other areas.
