LG Police Respond to Reported Burglary
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of March 24-31.
Burglary
On March 25, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a burglary. Alarm
On March 25, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Colorado to the post office for an alarm.
On March 29, Wostarek was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Travis at Tejas Health Care for an alarm.
Assault
On March 25, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke with a caller regarding an assault that occurred with a student.
Accident
On March 24, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 for an accident.
On March 26, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Jefferson regarding a blue form for an accident.
On March 27, Currington was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Jefferson for an accident.
On March 27, Wostarek was dispatched to the 3000 block of N. Von Minden for an accident.
On March 28, Currington was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Jefferson for a minor accident.
On March 29, Haynie was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Guadalupe for an accident.
Animal Complaint
On March 29, Haynie was dispatched to the 1300 block of N. Jefferson regarding an animal complaint.
On March 30, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 500 block of N. Madison for an animal complaint.
On March 31, Keeney responded to the 400 block of Miller for a report of a loose dog.
Civil Matter
On March 25, Haynie was dispatched to the 1500 block of N. Jefferson regarding a civil matter.
Criminal Mischief
On March 31, Sgt. Travis Anderson received a call regarding a vehicle that had driven off with the gas nozzle in the gas tank in the 1900 block of Hwy. 159.
Disturbance
On March 30, Keeney responded to the 300 block of Fireside on a report of a nonnor violent family disturbance.
Disorderly Conduct
On March 30, Anderson was working security at the La Grange High School athletic stadium when an altercation broke out between players of the two sports teams competing.
Harassment
On March 25, Haynie spoke with a subject in the 500 block of E. Fannin regarding harassment.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle On March 27, Maxwell was dispatched to the 900 block of S. Jefferson regarding a suspicious person.
On March 28, Archerd checked on a suspicious vehicle that was left in a parking lot still running in the 800 block of S. Vail. The vehicle belonged to a student.
Theft
On March 27, Currington was dispatched to the 200 block of Svoboda for a theft.
Traffic Hazard
On March 24, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of N. Jefferson regarding a traffic hazard.
