La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department resonded to during the week of July 10-17.

Animal Complaint

On July 10, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 300 block of Wood Hollow for an animal complaint.

On July 10, Officer Kevin Currington responded to the 600 block of N. Franklin about an animal complainant.

On July 11, Animal Control Officer Dean Ahlschlager checked on barking dogs in the 700 block of N. Franklin. Officer advised owner of dogs would take care of the dogs barking.

On July 13, Currington was dispatched to the 1900 bock of Hwy. 159 for an animal complaint. Officer picked up bird and gave to animal control.

On July 14, Keeney responded to the 100 block of W. Fannin in response to an animal complaint.

On July 14, Keeney spoke with a complaint in the 600 block of N. Franklin about an animal complaint.

Alarm

On July 10, Keeney responded tot the 200 block of S. Ellinger in response to an active alarm. All appeared secure.

On July 16, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of Ellinger Rd. in regards to an alarm.

Accident

On July 13, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 600 block of S. Jefferson for a hit and run accident.

On July 15, Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis for an accident.

Criminal Mischief

On July 13, Officer Robin Emmons was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Franklin where complainant believes his shirts and couch have been cut with a knife.

On July 16, Officer Justin Koehne spoke with a caller in the 700 block of N. Monroe about criminal mischief.

Citizen Assist

On July 6, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1600 block of N. Jefferson in regards to a citizen assist.

Civil Matter

On July 12, Koehne met with a caller in the 200 block of Cynthia about a civil matter.

Disturbance

On July 10, Meinardus responded to the 500 block of Cindy Ln. where caller reported hearing people yelling at each other in the neighboring apartment. Officer upon arrival spoke to subjects who stated that they were arguing and that all was fine.

On July 10, Keeney responded to the 900-block of E. Guadalupe in response to a disturbance involving a family member.

On July 10, Currington was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy.71 Business for a verbal disturbance. Officer upon arrival made contact with the business who advised the subjects had left and it was verbal only.

On July 11, Emmons responded to the 200 block of Northpointe for a disturbance between mother and son.

On July 11, Emmons responded to the 900 block of N. Jefferson for a dispute between parties.

On July 12, Emmons responded to the 200 block of Ellinger Rd. for a disturbance.

On July 13, Keeney responded to the 500-block f W. Lowerline about loud music being played.

On July 16, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Madison in regards to a loud person. Officer arrived on location and spoke with subject. Subject advised he would stop being loud.

On July 16, Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Pearl in regard to a loud noise.

On July 16, Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of N. Madison where caller reported neighbor banging on the wall.

Reckless Driving

On July 15, Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Monroe in regards to a reckless driver. Officer arrived on location and searched the area. Officer was unable to locate the reckless driver.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

On July 13, Currington was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Jefferson for a suspicious person. Officer checked the area but subject had left.

On July 13, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Lester in regard to suspicious person. Officer arrived on location and searched the area. Officer was unable to locate anyone in the area.

On July 14, Currington was dispatched to the 200 block of W. Colorado for a suspicious package. Officer arrived and the package was harmless.

On July 16, Koehne spoke with a caller in the 900 block of E. Camp about some papers that were left at her house by an unknown person.

Theft

On July 13, Keeney spoke with complainant about theft from her residence in the 500 block of S. Cindy Ln.

On July 13, Keeney spoke with complainant in the 500 block of Koenig about mail being stolen.

On July 15, Koehne spoke with a complaint about theft in the 800 block of S. Jefferson.

Trespassing

On July 15, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington in regards to a subject trespassing. Subject left prior to officers’ arrival.

Warrant Arrest

On July 10, Currington was dispatched to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a subject with a felony warrant. Officer arrived on location and found subject with two felony warrants. Subject was arrested without incident.

On July 15, Wostarek responded to the 700 block of N. Washington and arrested two subjects for outstanding warrants.

Welfare Check

On July 12, Koehne responded to the 900 block of E. Eblin for a welfare check.

On July 14, Keeney responded to the 600 block of E. Pecan for a welfare check.

On July 16, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in regard to a welfare check.

Miscellaneous

On July 11, Koehne spoke with a caller at the police station about harassment.

On July 16, Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Jefferson in regards to a narcotics complaint.

On July 16, Wostarek was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Jefferson in regards to a subject trespassing.
