Leo Club Fills Backpacks for Back 2 School Fest

The La Grange Leo Club, Chamber of Commerce representatives, and two Fair Queen contestants gathered at Tejas Administrative offices to help fill backpacks with school supplies for underprivileged children in need. Today 60 percent, or more than 3 million, Texas public school students are identified as economically deprived. Tejas Health Care will host their annual Back 2 School Festival on August 5 where free backpacks with school supplies, snow cones, hotdogs and popcorn will be offered.
