Law Enforcement Snapshot of 2022
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office presented the Commissioners Court with an end-of-year report on their activities for 2021. Chief Deputy Randy Noviskie presented the report at the Commissioners Court meeting on Thursday, Jan. 26.
For the year of 2022, Noviskie gave the following figures: Felony arrests 298 Misdemeanor arrests 101 Traffic stops 4,742 Calls for Service 8,707 Civil Papers Served 443
The jail processed 726 individuals in 2022. The dispatch center answered 18,565 calls, which includes calls for the fire departments, Fayette County EMS and city police departments.
Noviskie also provided figures for the month of December 2022:
Felon Arrests 20 Misdemeanor arrests 7 Traffic Stops 257 Calls for Service 775 Civil Papers Served 34 Milage 47,125
The jail processed 62 individuals in the month of December, Dispatch center received 2,241 calls for service in December.
