Lady Horns Were Classroom Stars in 2021-22

Schulenburg Volleyball Team Earns State and National Academic Recognition

The Schulenburg Lady Horn Volleyball Team is proud to announce that they are a recipient of the 2021-2022 United States Marine Corps - American Volleyball Coaches Association (USMC/AVCA) Team Academic Award. It is the 9th consecutive year that the Lady Horns have received the award.

Team members include: Kieryn Adams, Claire Antosh, Madison Brooks, Jessalyn Gipson, Haylie Goode, Mackenzie Kunschick, Kloe Kutac, Meredith Magliolo, Megan Ohnheiser, Tamara Otto, Rilee Sanchez, Jordan Sommer, Brianna Vavra, Keaton Walker, and Harly Zapalac

425 High School Teams from across the United States of America received recognition with 40 of those teams from Texas.

The Lady Horns also received the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll Designation for the 3rd consecutive year.

This designation is for High School Teams that were in the Top 20 percent in the United States based on their Team Cumulative GPA. 113 teams in the United States of America earned that designation with just 11 teams from Texas. The Lady Horns overall cumulative team GPA for 2021-2022 was 97.013.
