Bubba Hoke won top individual shooter.

Twenty nine shooters and a team of volunteers enjoyed beautiful spring weather for the first annual La Grange YoungLife Fun Shoot at the Fayette County Gun Club.

Each shooter loaded 100 shells to compete at three stations - five-stand, skeet, and trap. At the end of the day, the prize ring for top individual went to Lazy Q’s, Bubba Hoke. The top overall team, Team Huette was comprised of Jason Huette, Josh Fenhaus, Ben Gerik and Mark Youens, and they were busting clay pigeons left and right to take home the top overall prize.

A hamburger lunch was provided for the participants by the team from the local nonprofit “Feed the Need,” who serve the community each Monday evening on the courthouse square in La Grange.

Raffle tickets were sold as well. The lucky winners were Mark Youens who received a loaded ammunition box and Cody Greany took home a filled Yeti ice chest.

Thanks to a lot of hard work and generous donations and sponsors LG Print Co, H&H Door, NBT, Sweeney Electric, YL Bellville and Scar & Sons, it was a successful fundraiser to support the mission and ministry of Young-Life in the La Grange area.
