La Grange Police Respond to Disturbances
Police Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Jan. 15-22.
Assault
On Jan. 17, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Charles for possible assault that had occurred.
On Jan. 17, Officer Thomas Kenney responded to the 500 block of W. Lowerline in response to an assault.
Accident
On Jan. 17, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Jefferson for an accident.
On Jan. 18, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 1500 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for an accident.
On Jan. 19, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1600 block of State Hwy. 71 business for an accident.
On Jan. 21, Keeney responded to St. Mark’s Place for an auto accident.
Animal Complaint
On Jan. 15, Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Pearl in regard to an animal complaint.
On Jan. 16, Currington spoke to subject in the 300 block of S. Madison who had concerns about some dogs.
Burglary
On Jan. 18, Wostarek was dispatched to the 800 block of Hanacek in regard to burglary of a building.
Civil Matter
On Jan. 16, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to possibly stolen items.
On Jan. 21, Currington was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington for a civil matter.
Disturbance
On Jan. 15, Wostarek was dispatched to the 2000 block of State Hwy. 71 for a disturbance.
On Jan. 17, Currington was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Vail for a disturbance between a mom and daughter about keys.
On Jan. 17, Anderson received a call for disturbance in the 900 block of E. Guadalupe.
On Jan. 19, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of S. Madison in regard to a family disturbance.
On Jan. 20, Currington was dispatched to One St. Mark’s Place for a subject causing a verbal disturbance.
On Jan. 21, Anderson responded to the 400 block of E. Travis in regard to a disturbance of shots fired.
Family Violence
On Jan. 17, Keeney responded to the 500 block of Cindy Lane in response to family violence, assault with bodily injury.
Harassment
Jn. 21, Anderson received a call regarding a possible harassment in the 700 block of E. Travis.
Juvenile Complaint
On Jan. 20, Keeney responded to the 800 block of E. Guadalupe in response to a juvenile complaint.
Loud Music/Persons
On Jan. 15, Officer Justin Koehne spoke with a subject in the 500 block of W. Lowerline about a loud noise complaint.
On Jan. 21, Keeney responded to the 200 bock of E. Pecan in response to a noise complaint.
Soliciting With Out Permit On Jan. 18, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass in regard to subject’s soliciting without a permit. Subjects were issued criminal trespass warnings.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle Jan 15, Officer Mitchell Maxwell checked on several juveniles in the 100 block of E. Travis.
On Jan. 16, Keeney responded to the 200 block of S. Ellinger in response to a suspicious person.
On Jan. 17, Keeney responded to the 100 block of S. Brown in response to a suspicious vehicle.
On Jan. 17, Currington was dispatched to the 600 block of W. Travis for a suspicious subject.
On Jan. 19, Keeney responded to the 500 block of E. Travis in response to a suspicious person.
On Jan. 20, Haynie responded to the 500 block of N. Jackson to check on a suspicious person.
Stolen Vehicle
On Jan. 20, Currington was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Jefferson for a stolen vehicle.
Theft
On Jan. 20, Currington spoke to the loss prevention manager in the 1000 block of Hwy. 159 about internal theft.
Trespassing
On Jan. 18, Wostarek spoke with a caller in regard to a subject trespassing in the 700 block of N. Washington.
On Jan. 21, Currington was dispatched to One St. Mark’s Place for trespassing.
Warrant Arrest
On Jan. 15, Maxwell arrested a subject in the 200 block of W. Guadalupe for an outstanding warrant.
On Jan. 19, Wostarek arrested a subject for an outstanding warrant in the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.
Welfare Check
On Jan. 16, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Steven Court in regard to a welfare check due to multiple 911 hang up calls.
On Jan. 19, Haynie initiated a welfare check in the 300 block of Rose Mayer.
On Jan. 20, Currington was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Jefferson for the welfare of a child hanging out a window.
