La Grange Police Respond to Criminal Mischief
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following activities his department responded to during the week of June 12-19.
Criminal Mischief
On June 16, Officer Thomas Keeney received a report of graffiti in the alleyway behind the 200 block of W. Travis.
On June 17, Keeney responded to the 200 block of W. Travis in response to things sprayed on the walls and the ground in the alleyway in the 200 block of W. Travis.
Assault
On June 12, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 400 block of N. Jefferson in regard to an assault family violence.
Alarm
On June 18, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 2100 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in regard to an alarm. Officer found building to be secure.
Animal Complaint
On June 16, Anderson received a call in regard to an animal complaint in the 1400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business.
On June 18, Officer Justin Koehne responded to an animal complaint in the 300 block of N. Vail.
Accident
On June 13, Koehne worked a two-vehicle accident in the 1500 block of N. Hwy. 77.
On June 15, Officer Curtis Zwahr responded to the intersection of N. Jefferson and Hwy. 71 bypass for a two vehicle minor accident.
On June 17, Koehne responded to the 1800 block of E. State Hwy. 71 Bypass for an accident in the parking lot blue forms were issued.
Agency Assist
On June 14, Zwahr assisted Fayette County Sheriff’s with an arrest in the 200 bock of S. Jefferson.
On June 14, Zwahr assisted in locating a subject in the 500 block of E. Fannin.
On June 15, Officer Kevin Currington assisted the fire department on a washer fire in the 800 block of E. Travis.
On June 17, Currington assisted the Fayette county Sheriff’s Department on a suspicious vehicle and subjects in the 1000 block of Spring Loop.
Civil Matter
On June 15, Officer Brett Meinardus spoke with complainant in regard to a customer giving them issues over a bill in the 1700 block of N. Jefferson.
Counterfeit Money
On June 17, Keeney spoke with complainant about a subject trying to use a $100 dollar bill in the 1000 block of Hwy. 159. The subject left with the bill.
Citizen Assist
On June 12, Anderson received a call from the 1000 block of Hwy. 159 in regard to a possible stolen vehicle.
Disturbance
On June 15, Meinardus responded to the 100 bock of W. Fannin for a disturbance.
On June 17, Koehne responded to One St. Mark’s Place for a patient that was causing a problem.
On June 18, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Madison in regard to subject screaming, officer arrived on location and spoke to the subject. Subject stated that he would stop screaming.
Fraud
On June 16, Meinardus responded to the 1700 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for fraud that had occurred at that location.
Suspicious Person
On June 17, Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Pearl in regard to a suspicious person. Officer searched the area and was unable to locate anyone.
Theft
On June 16, Meinardus responded to the 200 block of E. Travis where caller stated that a subject came into the store and took some items.
On June 17, Keeney responded to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in response to a theft.
Traffic Hazard
On June 17, Keeney responded to the 100 block of E. Travis where hay bales fell off a trailer. Bales were removed from the roadway.
Warrant Arrest
On June 17, Wostarek arrested a subject for a felony warrant at One St. Mark’s Place.
On June 18, Koehne arrested a subject on an outstanding felony warrant in the 200 block of E. Travis. Subject was also in possession of marijuana.
Welfare Check
On June 12, Anderson responded to the 100 block of FM 609 for woman walking in the road acting strange.
On June 14, Zwahr responded to the 900 block of S. Vail for a welfare check on a subject.
On June 14, Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Guadalupe in regard to a welfare check.
On June 15, Anderson received a call for a welfare check in the 700 block of S. Jefferson.
On June 15, Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of Sunset Ln. for a subject walking down the street yelling.
Miscellaneous
On June 12, Anderson received a narcotics complaint in the 300 block of Wood Hollow
On June 12, Anderson received a cal in regard to a female trespassing in the 100 block of E. Colorado.
On June 14, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of Northpointe in regard to identity theft.
On June 17, Wostark responded to the 400 block of E. Travis for an open carry complaint.
On June 18, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of W. Colorado in regard to loud music. Subject turned down the music after speaking to the officer.
On June 18, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of W. Colorado in regard to loud music.
