La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Nov. 5-12.

Assault

On Nov. 5, Officer John Wostarek spoke with a caller regarding an assault in the 400 block of W. Fairgrounds Rd.

Animal Complaint

On Nov. 7, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 100 block of Svoboda Lane in response to an animal complaint.

On Nov. 7, Keeney responded to the 200 block of S. Reynolds regarding an animal complaint.

On Nov. 10, Officer Kevin Currington responded to the 500 block of N. Franklin for an animal complaint.

Accident

On Nov. 8, Officer Timothy Medack was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Water regarding a motor vehicle accident.

On Nov. 9, Medack was dispatched to the 200 block of W. Colorado regarding a motor vehicle accident.

Agency Assist

On Nov. 5, Currington assisted the fire department with an unknown chemical odor in the 500 block of S. Jackson.

Burglary

On Nov. 7, Sgt. Travis Anderson received a call in regard to a burglary in the 400 block of E. Colorado.

Citizen Assist

On Nov. 5, Officer Steven Haynie spoke with a subject in the 400 block of E. Travis for a citizen assist.

On Nov. 9, Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Travis In regard to a citizen assist.

On Nov. 10, Keeney assisted a citizen in the 100 block of Joy Street.

Criminal Mischief

On Nov. 8, Medack was dispatched to the 600 block of E. Lafayette in regard to criminal mischief.

On Nov. 8, Medack was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline regarding criminal mischief.

Disturbance

On Nov. 9, Haynie was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Colorado regarding a family disturbance.

Found Property

On Nov. 11, Keeney responded to the 500 block of N. Washington for found property.

Harassment

On Nov. 9, Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline in regard to harassment. Juvenile Complaint

On Nov. 9, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke with a caller regarding a juvenile complaint in the 200 block of W. Fannin.

On Nov. 10, Anderson spoke with complainant in the 700 block of E. Fannin for a juvenile matter involving his sister.

Reckless Driver

On Nov. 5, Haynie was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Travis regarding a reckless driver. Officer was unable to locate.

Robbery

On Nov. 9, Haynie was dispatched in regard to an aggravated robbery in the 2300 block of W. Travis.

Runaway

On Nov. 10, Anderson received a call in regard to a juvenile runaway in the 700 block of E. Fannin.

On Nov. 11, Medck was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Fannin in regard to a runaway.

Suspicious Vehicle/Person On Nov. 5, Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Camp in regard to a suspicious vehicle Officer was unable to locate the vehicle.

On Nov. 6, Officer Brett Meinardus spoke with caller about hearing possible gunshots coming from a vehicle near the gas pumps in the 400 block of E. Travis. Gas attendant believed it was possibly a motorcycle backfiring.

On Nov. 8, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Von Minden regarding a suspicious person.

On Nov. 11, Currington checked the 100 block of N. Lee Street for a possible prowler.

Theft

On Nov. 7, Keeney responded to the 1800 block of W. State Hwy.71 business for report of theft.

On Nov. 10, Meinardus responded to the 1800 block of E. State Hwy 71 bypass where complainant reported phone was stolen.

Welfare Check

On Nov. 9, Medack was dispatched to the 400 block of S. Jefferson in regard to a welfare check.

Miscellaneous

On Nov. 6, Keeney was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Sarah Jo for a reported road hazard.

On Nov. 6, Keeney responded to the 300 block of E. Travis on an identity theft complaint.

On Nov. 7, Anderson assisted a stranded female motorist in the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass who struck an object in the roadway.

On Nov. 7, Anderson spoke with complainant in the 100 block of Guy regarding a possible phone scam.

On Nov. 8, Haynie was called to the 100 block of S. Brown regarding a city ordinance violation depositing or dumping garbage.

On Nov. 9, Medack was dispatched to the 300 block of Rose Mayer for a 911 hang up.
