La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Dec. 14-21.
Animal Complaint
On Dec. 14, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 200 block of E. Pecan for a loose dog. Owner picked up dog.
On Dec. 15, Animal Control Officer Leslie Yezakl responded to the 200 block of Rose Mayer for animal complaint.
On Dec. 18, Yezakl spoke with a resident in the 400 block of N. Horton concerning an animal complaint.
On Dec. 20, Officer Steven Haynie spoke with a subject in the 1000 block of Sunset for an animal complaint.
On Dec. 21, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline for an animal complaint.
Credit Card Abuse
On Dec. 17, Investigator Troy Stevens spoke with an elderly person from California who advised their credit card was being used in La Grange.
Civil Matter
On Dec. 15, Haynie spoke with a subject regarding a civil matter in the 300 block of E. Live Oak.
On Dec. 17, Meinardus spoke with a caller that advised he wanted to live with his mother. The subject was returned to his father who he has been staying with. This was a child custody issue.
Disturbance
On Dec. 15, Officer Jose Garza was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Guadalupe in reference to a disturbance.
Family Violence
On Dec. 19, Haynie was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Travis for family violence bodily injury.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle On Dec. 14, Sgt. Mitchell Maxwell checked out a suspicious person in the 100 block of S. Brown.
On Dec. 20, Officer Darrell Armstead was dispatched to the intersection of E. Colorado and Travis for a suspicious person.
Citizen Assist
On Dec. 20, Haynie was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Reynolds for a citizen assist.
Theft
On Dec. 15, Haynie was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business regarding a theft.
On Dec. 18, Meinardus was dispatched to the 300 block of S. Madison regarding two missing bicycles.
On Dec. 21, Armstead was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy.71 business for a theft.
