La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Dec. 7-14 Accident

On Dec. 8, Officer Brett Meinardus worked a two-vehicle accident in the 100 block of S. Jefferson. No Injuries.

On Dec. 9, Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of N. Madison where complainant advised another resident struck her car with an electric scooter.

On Dec. 9, Officer Jose Garza responded to the 200 block of Northwest Circle for a minor accident.

On Dec. 12, Sgt. Mitchell Maxwell responded to the 900 block of Country Club Drive for a two-vehicle accident.

Agency Assist

On Dec. 10, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to One St. Mark’s Place for an agency assist.

Disturbance

On Dec. 12, Officer Darrell Armstead was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Roitsch for a disturbance.

Animal Complaint

On Dec. 8, Animal control officer Leslie Yezakl received a call of geese in the roadway in the 200 block of Ellinger Road. Officer was unable to locate any geese.

On Dec. 8, Yezakl responded to the 900 block of Mode Lane for a dog off leash. Spoke to the dog owner and advised of the leash ordinance.

On Dec. 9, Yezakl responded to the 200 block of E. Colorado for a possibly injured stray cat. The officer was advised by the animal shelter to take the injured cat to the Fayette County Vet Clinic.

On Dec. 9, Yezakl responded to the 100 block of S. Monroe to pick up a kitten. Kitten was taken to the animal shelter.

On Dec. 11, Yezakl responded to the 200 block of Ellinger regarding a cat bite.

On Dec. 12, Yezakl responded to the 600 block of E. Colorado to speak to staff regarding a repellant for chickens unable to keep out of their yard.

On Dec. 14, Meinardus responded to the 200 block of E. Pecan for a loose dog.

Citizen Assist

On Dec. 13, Meinardus responded to the 500 block of E. Guadalupe regarding caller needing information about eviction.

Civil Matter

On Dec. 9, Garza was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy 159 regarding a civil matter.

On Dec. 12, Meinardus was dispatched to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 Bypass regarding self deporting information.

Discharging Firearm

On Dec. 8, Maxwell was dispatched to the 600 block of Ellinger Road for several gun shots that were heard.

Fire

On Dec. 13, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business regarding a fire.

Harassment

On Dec. 8, Meinardus responded to the 400 block of E. Travis to speak with complainant regarding subject she is having issues with.

Loud Music/Person

On Dec. 7, Armstead was dispatched to the 900 block of Pearl for loud music.

On Dec. 10, Armstead was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Colorado for a loud noise.

On Dec. 11, Haynie was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis regarding a loud person or persons.

Scam

On Dec. 7, Armstead was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy 71 Business for a scam.
