La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Jan. 14-21.

Assault

On Jan. 19, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 1600 block of N. Jefferson for an assault.

Accident

On Jan. 17, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Franklin for an accident.

On Jan. 18, Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis for a minor accident.

Animal Complaint

On Jan. 15, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Milam regarding an animal complaint.

On Jan. 16, Keeney responded to the 700 block of E. Pecan for an animal complaint.

On Jan. 17, Animal Control Officer Dean Ahlschlager helped get a bird out of the house in the 700 block of E. Pecan.

Burglary

On Jan. 15, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 1400 block of W. Hwy. 71 Business for burglary of a habitation.

Citizen Assist

On Jan. 15, Officer Timothy Medack was dispatched to the 1600 block of N. Jefferson regarding a citizen assist.

On Jan. 16, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Pecan regarding a citizen assist.

Criminal Mischief

On Jan. 15, Keeney responded to the 900 block of E. Pearl for criminal mischief.

Civil Matter

On Jan. 17, Officer Mitchell Maxwell spoke with a caller in the 200 block of N. Jefferson regarding a civil matter.

Disturbance

On Jan. 19, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 700 block of N. Eckel for a disturbance.

Juvenile Complaint

On Jan. 17, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business regarding a juvenile complaint. Possession

On Jan. 18, Maxwell arrested a subject in the 200 block of N. Jefferson for possession of a controlled substance. Loud Music

On Jan. 17, Maxwell was dispatched to the 200 block of Ellinger regarding loud music.

Scam

On Jan. 17, Currington was dispatched to the 700 block of Sarah Jo for an attempted scam.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

On Jan. 16, Medack was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Washington regarding a suspicious person.

On Jan 16, Haynie was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Jefferson regarding suspicious activity.

On Jan. 17, Keeney investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass.

On Jan. 17, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of W. Pearl regarding a suspicious person.

On Jan. 18, Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Colorado in regard to a suspicious person.

Theft

On Jan. 17, Currington spoke to a subject about theft in the 100 block of S. Ellinger.

On Jan. 20, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of Koenig Lane regarding a theft.

Terroristic Threat

On Jan. 18, Wostarek took information in the 200 block of Rose Mayer for a terroristic threat.

Welfare Concern

On Jan. 14, Currington was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Main regarding a welfare check.

On Jan. 19, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Cindy Lane regarding a welfare check.

On Jan. 20, Haynie was dispatched to the 600 block of E. Eblin for a welfare check.
