La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Aug. 27-Sept. 2.

Assault

On Sept. 1, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 1600 block of N. Jefferson on a report of an assault.

Animal Complaint

On Aug. 28, Animal Control Officer Dean Ahlschlager picked up a Pitbull dog in the 900 block of S. Jefferson and it was then impounded.

On Aug. 29, Ahlschlager picked up a cat in the 200 block of N. Water and it was then impounded.

On Aug. 29, Ahlschlager put two dogs back in the yard in the 100 block of W. Fannin.

On Aug. 29, Ahlschlager put out a cat trap in the 200 block of S. Washington.

On Aug. 31, Ahlschlager picked up a dog and returned to owner in the 200 block of Horton.

On Aug. 31, Ahlschlager put two dogs back in the yard in the 200 block of S. Lester.

On Aug. 31, Officer Timothy Medack was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Roitsch in regard to an animal complaint.

Accident

On Aug. 29, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to Two St. Mark’s Place for an accident on private property.

On Aug. 31, Medack was dispatched to the 1500 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a motor vehicle accident.

On Sept. 2, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 400 block of E. Travis for an accident in the parking lot.

Civil Matter

On Aug. 28, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Eckel for a civil matter.

On Aug. 29, Currington spoke with a subject in the 200 block of N. Jackson about a civil matter.

Disturbance

On Aug. 27, Medack was dispatched to One St. Mark’s Place in regard to a disturbance.

On Aug. 27, Anderson responded to the 1600 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a disturbance in the lobby of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

On Aug. 28, Currington was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Jefferson for a possible disturbance.

On Aug. 28, Anderson responded to the 700 block of N. Washington for a disturbance.

On Sept. 1, Anderson was advised of a disturbance in the parking lot at 500 W. Fairgrounds Road. On Sept. 2, Currington was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a family disturbance.

Public Intoxication

On Sept. 1, Officer John Wostarek arrested a subject for public intoxication at the Fayette County Fairgrounds.

Suspicious Vehicle/Person On Aug. 28, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline for a suspicious vehicle.

On Aug. 31, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Jefferson in regard to a suspicious circumstance.

On Aug. 31, Haynie was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Jefferson in regard to a suspicious person.

Traffic Stop

On Aug. 31, Maxwell stopped a driver in the 1100 block of E. Guadalupe probable cause search was conducted. The driver was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail.

Welfare Check

On Aug. 27, Medack was dispatched to the 1200 block of W. Carroll Lane in regard to a welfare check.

On Aug. 30, Haynie was dispatched to the 2300 block of W state Hwy. 71 business in regard to a welfare concern.

Warrant Arrest

On Aug. 28, Currington was dispatched to Adult probation in the 200 block of N. Main for a subject with an outstanding warrant.

Miscellaneous

On Aug. 27, Medack was dispatched to the 1200 block of W. Carroll Lane in regard to a 911 call.

On Aug. 29, Currington assisted with traffic control in the 1900 block of N. Jefferson on a gas leak.

On Aug. 30, Medack was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Eckel in regard to credit card abuse.

On Sept. 2, Meinardus responded to the 800 block of S.

Vail for loud noise.

On Sept. 2, Currington responded to the 400 block of E. Travis for a parking violation.

On Sept. 2-Currington responded to the 400 block of E.

Roitsch for loud music.
