La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of July 8-15.

Assault

On July 9, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 200 block of S. College on an assault family violence.

Accident

On July 11, Officer Curtis Zwahr responded to the intersection of US Hwy. 77 and 71 bypass for a minor accident.

On July 11, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 bypass in regard to a one vehicle accident.

On July 14, Zwahr responded to the intersection of Monroe and E. Travis for a two-vehicle minor accident.

On July 14, Keeney responded to the 100 block of N. Madison for an auto accident.

Animal Complaint

On July 10, Officer Timothy Medack responded to the 300 block of Fireside for an animal complaint.

On July 12, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 600 block of S. Monroe for a father arguing about a dog.

On July 13, Animal Control Officer Dean Ahlschlager picked up an injured hawk in the 300 block of S. Franklin.

On July 13-Ahlschlager picked up a snake in the 2000 block of N. Von Minden.

Alarm

On July 9, Keeney responded to the 100 block of W. Colorado for a report of an active alarm.

On July 11, Maxwell was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Travis in regard to an alarm.

On July 11, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Franklin in regard to an alarm.

On July 15, Medack was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Colorado in regard to a fire alarm.

Criminal Mischief

On July 10, Medack was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Franklin in regard to a broken vehicle mirror.

On July 10, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Lynwood in regard to a broken window on a vehicle.

Disturbance

On July 9, Meinardus responded to the 200 block of E. Pearl in regard to a disturbance.

On July 11, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline in regard to a family disturbance.

On July 12, Keeney responded to the 1500 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in response to a person being threatened.

Found Property

On July 15, Zwahr was given found property from the 700 block of Hanacek.

Harassment

On July 9, Keeney responded to the 300 block of E. Pecan for a harassment complaint.

Possession

On July 11, Maxwell conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of E. Eblin. A probable cause search was conducted and the driver and passenger were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

On July 14, Keeney initiated a felony warrant arrest in the 100 block of W. Pearl.

Suspicious Vehicle/Person On July 9, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 100 block of E. Travis regarding a suspicious circumstance at the location.

On July 10, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Ellinger in regard to a suspicious person. Officer was unable to locate anyone in the area.

On July 11, Haynie checked out a suspicious person in the 1900 block of W.

Hwy. 71 Business.

On July 11, Maxwell checked on a suspicious person in the 500 block of S. Meyer.

On July 11, Medack was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Madison in regard to a suspicious person.

On July 12, Anderson received a call regarding a suspicious circumstance in the 900 block of E. Guadalupe.

On July 12, Maxwell checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 2300 block of W. Hwy. 71 Business.

On July 12, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke with a caller in regard to a suspicious person they encountered at Walmart.

On July 14, Haynie checked out suspicious persons in the 100 block of W. Pecan.

On July 14, Haynie checked out a suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of S. Jefferson.

On July 15, Haynie checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 2300 block of W. Travis.

On July 15, Zwahr searched the area of the 700 block of N Washington for suspicious subjects. Officer was unable to locate.

On July 15, Haynie checked out a disabled vehicle in the 800 block of S. Jefferson.

Welfare Check

On July 10, Medack was dispatched to the 800 block of Country Club Drive for a welfare check. Subject stated he was fine.
