La Grange Police Report

La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his departments responded to during the week of May 21-27.

Accident

On May 21, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy 159 for an accident. Officer could not locate any accident.

On May 22, Sgt. Travis Anderson while working traffic in the school zone was advised of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of N. Monroe and E. Live Oak.

On May 22-Anderson responded to the 400 block of E.

Travis for an accident.

On May 24, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1300 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a two-vehicle accident. Animal Complaint

On May 22, Officer Kevin Currington responded to the 900 block of Mode Lane for a deer in distress.

On May 25, Officer Steven Haynie responded to the 900 block of E. Lafayette in regard to an animal complaint.

Citizen Assist

On May 25, Officer Curtis Zwahr assisted a citizen in regard to a hit and run.

On May 26, Zwahr assisted a citizen in the 400 block of E. Travis in starting their vehicle.

Civil Matter

On May 24, Maxwell spoke to subjects in the 200 block of S. Washington for a civil matter.

On May 25, Haynie spoke with subjects in the 700 block of E. Pearl in regard to a civil matter.

Criminal Mischief

On May 25, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Lynwood in regard to criminal mischief.

Disturbance

On May 22, Meinardus responded to the 100 block of Svoboda for a disturbance.

On May 24, Haynie was dispatched to the 1200 block of E. Eblin in regard to a family disturbance.

On Dec. 26, Currington was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. Travis for a disturbance.

Driving While Intoxicated On May 21, Haynie arrested a subject in the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for driving while intoxicated.

Found Property

On May 24, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Brown in regard to two abandoned bicycles.

Harassment

On May 21, Wostarek was dispatched to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy 71 business in regard to harassment.

On May 27, Sgt. Travis Anderson received a call in the 200 block of S. Lester for harassment at the location.

Juvenile Complaint

On May 26, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of

Florence for a juvenile complaint. Suspicious Person/Vehicle

On May 23, Officer Thomas Keeney spoke with a caller in the 1000 block of Hwy. 159 about a suspicious vehicle on property.

On May 23, Currington checked on suspicious circumstance at a local business in the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71.

On May 24, Officer Jeffrey Archerd responded to the 500 block of N. Jackson for a suspicious person.

On May 25, Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Main in regard to a suspicious vehicle.

My 27, Meinardus responded to the 400 block of W. Colorado for juveniles outside the city pool.

Terrorist Threat

On May 22, Keeney spoke with a caller in the 200 block of N. Lee about a terroristic threat.

Theft

On May 22, Keeney responded to the 800 block of N. Jefferson for a reported theft.
