La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Feb. 19-25.

Animal Complaint

On Feb. 20, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 1500 block of Hwy 159 in regard to loose livestock On Feb. 21, Chief David Gilbreath responded to the 300 block of N. Horton for two dogs running at large. Animals were taken home.

Civil Matter

On Feb. 21, Haynie spoke with subject in the 400 block of N. Horton regarding a civil matter.

On Feb. 25, Officer Jeffrey Archerd was dispatched to the 1900 block of State Hwy 71 business for a civil matter.

Disturbance

On Feb. 19, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 300 block of Woodhollow for a possible fight that was about to start. No disturbance was found.

On Feb. 20, Officer Curtis Zwahr responded to the 1900 block of State Hwy. 71 business to a customer refusing to leave the store. Subject left after officers’ arrival.

On Feb. 20, Zwahr responded to the 200 block of S. Jefferson to a possible disturbance at the location. Officer spoke with the caller and it was an accidental call.

On Feb. 21, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 2400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a verbal disturbance.

Grass Fire

On Feb. 25, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Lynwood in regard to a grass fire. Officer arrived on location and the fire was a controlled burn.

Harassment

On Feb. 21, Wostarek spoke with a caller in the 100 block of Northwest Circle in regard to harassment.

On Feb. 23, Officer Robin Emmons responded to the 800 block of S. Vail for a juvenile student harassing another juvenile student.

On Feb. 24, Wostarek spoke with a subject in regard to harassment.

Reckless Driving

On Feb. 22, Currington checked on a reported reckless driver in the 2400 block of W. State Hwy. 71. Subject had been up all night and subject got a room.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

On Feb. 19, Currington checked on a subject riding a dirt bike in the 700 block of W. Travis On Feb. 19, Sgt. Travis Anderson received a call of a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of N. Washington.

On Feb. 20, Anderson received a call for a suspicious person in the 900 block of N. Jefferson.

On Feb. 20, Currington was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Reynolds for possible trespass.

On Feb. 21, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1800 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business On Feb. 23, Anderson responded to the 500 block of W. Lowerline for a suspicious person.

On Feb. 25, Haynie was dispatched to the 400 block of N. 3rd Alley in regard to suspicious circumstances.

Terroristic Threat

On Feb. 21, Investigator Kenny Schmidt was notified of terroristic threat being made.

Theft

On Feb. 22, Officer Brett Meinardus took a report of a theft in the 400 block of E. Travis.

On Feb. 24, Wostarek was dispatched to the 2100 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a theft.

Warrant Arrest

On Feb. 23, Currington was dispatched to the 200 block of N. Main for a subject with a warrant.

Welfare Check

On Feb. 21, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Monroe in regard to a welfare check.

On Feb. 21 Haynie checked on a welfare concern in the 100 block of W. Colorado.

Miscellaneous

On Feb. 19, Anderson located a vehicle blocking a fire hydrant in the 200 block of N. Washington.

On Feb. 22, Anderson assisted a motorist who needed a battery in the 100 block of N. Main.
