La Grange Police Report Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Dec. 18-25.

Animal Complaint

On Dec. 18, Officer Mitchell Maxwell located a dog running loose in the 1000 block of S. College. On Dec. 23, Sgt. Travis Anderson received a call about two dogs that had been left out in the inclement weather with out adequate shelter in the 700 block of N. Monroe.

Accident

On Dec. 20, Officer Kevin Currington responded to the 1900 block of State Hwy. 71 business for a minor accident.

On Dec. 21, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 1100 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a traffic accident.

On Dec. 23, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 900 block of Mode Lane for a onevehicle accident. On Dec. 23, Meinardus responded to the 100 block of N. Jefferson for a two-vehicle accident.

Burglary of Vehicle On Dec. 21, Officer Justin Koehne arrested a subject for burglary of a vehicle in the 600 block of E. Upperline.

Civil Matter

On Dec. 19, Meinardus spoke with individual in the 900 block of E. Roitsch in regard to a civil matter.

On Dec. 20, Officer Thomas Keeney spoke with a caller in regard to a civil matter in the 900 block of S. Jefferson.

On Dec. 22, Officer Curtis Zwahr spoke with a caller in regards to a civil matter in the 600 block of E. Guadalupe.

Citizen Assist

On Dec. 22, Haynie was dispatched to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy 71 Business in regards to a broken water pipe. Officer made sure the water was turned off and advised to contact the property owner in order to schedule a plumber.

On Dec. 22, Haynie was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Franklin in regard to a citizen assist. On Dec. 23, Meinardus responded to the 300 block of Fireside where caller reported they heard a hissing sound and were worried about the water heater.

On Dec. 23, Haynie was dispatched to One St. Mark’s Place in regard to a citizen assist.

Disturbance

On Dec. 20, Zwahr responded to the 2000 block of State Hwy. 71 for a disturbance. Suspect was gone upon officers arrival.

On Dec. 23, Currington was dispatched to One St. Mark’s Place for a patient causing a problem.

On Dec. 24, Currington was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline for a verbal disturbance On Dec. 24, Anderson received a call for a verbal disturbance in the 500 block of Koenig Lane. On Dec. 24, Keeney responded to the 500 block of E. Lafayette in response to a reported family disturbance.

Forgery

On Dec. 21, Officer Robin Emmons responded to the 200 block of W. Travis for forgery of checks.

Found Property

On Dec. 18, Koehne met with individual in the 1800 block of W. State Hwy 71 business that advised they found numerous credit and debit cards in the parking lot.

Harassment

On Dec. 18, Koehne spoke with a caller in the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business about harassment.

Reckless Driving

On Dec. 24, Meinardus was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Vail for three trucks doing donuts in the parking lots.

Suspicious Person/vehicle

On Dec. 20, Keeney responded to the 500 block of S. Madison for a suspicious person.

On Dec. 22, Maxwell spoke to complainant in the 200 block of W. Travis in regards to suspicious subjects.

Theft

On Dec. 18, Office John Wostarek was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in regards to subject that changed bar codes on multiple items. Subject was arrested and transported to Dan R. Beck Justice Center.

On Dec. 23, Keeney responded to the 600 block of N.

Main in regards to a theft. On Dec. 24, Currington was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis for theft.

Trespassing

On Dec. 22, Zwahr spoke with a caller in regards to a criminal trespass warning in the 1800 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business.

Welfare Check

On Dec. 20, Keeney responded to the 600 block of State Hwy. 71 bypass for a vehicle releasing a large amount of smoke.

On Dec. 20, Keeney responded to the 700 block of E.

Eblin for a welfare check. On Dec. 21, Maxwell was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Colorado in regards to a welfare check.

Miscellaneous

On Dec. 18, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington in regards to illegal burning. A warning was issued.

On Dec. 19, Meinardus responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for two subjects passing counterfeit bills to make a purchase.

On Dec. 23, Anderson removed a metal table frame from the roadway in the 700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass.

On Dec. 24, Meinardus responded to loud music in the 100 block of W. Northline.
