La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Dec. 11-18.

Alarm

On Dec. 17, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Rosenberg in regard to an alarm. Officer spoke with homeowner and found it was a false alarm.

Accident

On Dec. 12, Officer Maxwell was dispatched to the 1100 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a two-vehicle accident.

On Dec. 16, Officer Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Reynolds in regard to an accident that had occurred in the parking lot. Blue forms were issued.

On Dec. 16, Officer Maxwell spoke to subject at the police station about an accident.

Civil Matter

On Dec. 17, Officer Maxwell was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Roitsch in regard to a civil matter.

Family Violence

On Dec. 11, Sgt. Travis Anderson received a call for a civil stand by in the Bluff View area. This call turned into a family violence call.

Theft

On Dec. 13, Officer Haynie was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Colorado in regard to a theft.

On Dec. 13, Officer Maxwell was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a theft.

Loitering

On Dec. 13, Officer Anderson responded to the 1900 block of W. state Hwy. 71 business regarding a female subject asking for money and trying to sell jewelry.

On Dec. 13, Officer Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Monroe in regards to subjects panhandling for money.

Parking Violation

On Dec. 16, Officer Maxwell was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a subject being blocked in.

On Dec. 18, Officer Maxwell was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Lowerine in regard to a parking violation.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

On Dec. 13, Officer Haynie responded to the 400 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a suspicious person at the location.

On Dec. 13, Officer Anderson responded to the 300 block of E. Colorado for a suspicious male at the location.

On Dec. 16, Police Chief David Gilbreath responded to the 1800 block of E. State Hwy. 159 for a subject that was sitting by a telephone pole. Subject was just passing through the county.

On Dec. 17, Officer Haynie was dispatched to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass in regard to a suspicious person.

On Dec. 17, Officer Haynie stopped and spoke with a subject in the 800 block of E. Travis.

Unauthorized Use of A Vehicle

On Dec. 15, Officer Keeney responded to the 1500 block of N. Jefferson to an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Illegal Burning

On Dec. 16, Officer Maxwell was dispatched to the 200 block of Lee in regards to illegal burning.

Welfare Check

On Dec. 11, Officer Anderson responded to the 100 block of E. Crockett regarding a welfare concern.

On Dec. 12, Officer Haynie was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Pecan in regard to a welfare check.

On Dec. 15, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass for a welfare check.

On Dec. 15, Officer Keeney responded to the 100 block of S. Ellinger in response to a welfare check.

On Dec. 16, Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of Hwy.159 for a welfare concern.

Animal Complaint

On Dec. 17, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Travis in regard to an animal complaint.
