La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Nov. 20-27.

Accident

On Nov. 24, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Franklin in regard to a two-vehicle accident. A citation was issued.

Agency Assist

On Nov. 23, Officer Justin Koehne assisted with traffic control for an accident on the bluff.

On Nov. 24, Koehne assisted with traffic control in the 1400 block of E. State Hwy. 71 for an accident on the Hwy.71 bypass.

Burglary

On Nov. 20, Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Fannin in regard to a burglary.

Citizen Assist

On Nov. 23, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to One St. Mark’s Place in regard to a citizen assist.

On Nov. 26, Officer Thomas Keeney spoke with caller to assist with traffic control in the 600 block of S. Jefferson.

On Nov. 26, Officer Kevin Currington gave assistance to a citizen at 400 W. Fairgrounds Rd.

Civil Matter

On Nov. 25, Currington spoke with a subject in the 1600 block of Jefferson about a civil matter.

On Nov. 26, Keeney spoke with caller in the 500 block of Cindy Lane about a civil matter.

Disturbance

On Nov. 20, Haynie was dispatched to the 400 block of S. Ellinger Rd. in regard to a disturbance. Subject was arrested for family violence and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.

On Nov. 23, Maxwell was dispatched to the 300 block of Wood hollow for a possible disturbance.

On Nov. 24, Maxwell was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline in regard to a disturbance.

Loitering

On Nov. 26, Keeney spoke with several subjects in the 100 block of E. Travis about loitering.

Narcotics Complaint

On Nov. 23, Koehne spoke with a caller about a narcotics complaint in the 2400 block of W. State Hwy 71 Business.

Suspicious Vehicle

On Nov. 23, Currington recovered a stolen vehicle out of Houston in the parking lot in the 1800 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass.

Traffic Hazard

On Nov. 26, Currington provided traffic control in the 1400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 bypass where rain had clogged and flooded both lanes of highway during a rainstorm.

Theft

On Nov. 26, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 400 block of E. Travis where complainant reported her wallet was lost or stolen and there was an attempted charge to one of the cards in her wallet.

Welfare Check

On Nov. 21, Keeney responded to the 400 block of N. Main in response to a welfare check.

On Nov. 23, Officer Curtis Zwahr responded to the 300 block of N. Monroe for a welfare check.
