Police Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department resonded to during the week of Oct. 16-23.
Assault
On Oct. 18, Officer Mitchell Maxwell responded to the 200 block of S. Ellinger in regards to an assault.
Animal Complaint
On Oct. 20, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 2300 block of N. Von Minden in regards to five loose dogs running down the street.
On Oct. 22, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of S. Washington in regard to an animal complaint.
On Oct. 22, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of Koenig Lane in regards to an animal complaint.
Accident
On Oct. 16, Anderson responded to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 for a two-vehicle accident.
On Oct. 17, Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis for an accident between a vehicle and a bicycle.
On Oct. 18, Maxwell was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis in regards to an accident that occurred in the parking lot.
On Oct. 19, Anderson responded to the intersection of E. Eblin and S. Vail for a minor accident.
On Oct. 22, Haynie was dispatched to the 1700 bock of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass in regards to an accident.
On Oct. 22, Haynie responded to the 100 bock of N. Jefferson in regards to a two-vehicle accident. One citation was issued.
Burglary
On Oct. 22, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1500 block of Hwy.159 in regards to a burglary.
Criminal Mischief
On Oct. 20, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 500 block of Logan for damage to a vehicle.
Civil Matter
On Oct. 21, Officer Steven Haynie spoke with subject in the 200 block of Ellinger in regards to a civil matter.
Disturbance
On Oct. 17, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of Ellinger in regards to a disturbance. Subjects were separated for the night.
On Oct. 21, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1500 block of W. State Hwy.71 in regards to an irate customer.
On Oct. 22, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy.159 in regards to two females in a disturbance.
On Oct. 22, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Ellinger in regards to a disturbance. Subjects were separated for the night.
On Oct. 22, Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Vine in regards to a disturbance. Female subject was arrested.
Evading Arrest On Oct. 17, Maxwell attempted to make contact with subjects in the 400 block of S. Washington.
Reckless Driving On Oct. 16, Anderson received a call in regards to a reckless driver in the 100 block of S. Brown.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle
On Oct. 16, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 800 block of S. Jefferson for suspicious people.
On Oct. 19, Keeney responded to the 900 block of Mode Lane for a suspicious vehicle.
On Oct. 20, Keeney spoke with suspicious people in the 1000 block of Von Minden.
On Oct. 21, Officer Justin Koehne responded to the 600 block of S. Madison for a subject going door to door. Follow up on the recent fiber optic install in the area.
On Oct. 21, Keeney observed a suspicious vehicle in the 1900 block of Hwy. 159.
On Oct. 21, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Reynolds in regards to suspicious person.
On Oct. 22, Koehne responded to the 100 block of N. Horton for a suspicious person walking. Officer was unable to locate the subject.
Terroristic Threat
On Oct. 17, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of Ellinger Road in regards to a terroristic threat.
Trespassing
On Oct. 18, Maxwell spoke with complainant in the 1400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regards to a criminal trespass warning.
Theft
On Oct. 19, Keeney responded to the 600 block of W. Travis in response to a possible theft.
On Oct. 21, Haynie spoke with complainant in regards to theft that occurred in the 700 block of N. Madison.
Welfare Check
On Oct. 19, Anderson responded to the 700 block of W. Travis in regards to a patient.
On Oct. 21, Haynie was dispatched to the 1500 block of N. Jefferson in regards to a welfare check.
On Oct. 22, Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of Mode Lane in regard to a welfare check.
On Oct. 22, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Fannin in regards to a welfare check.
Warrant Arrest
On Oct. 21, Koehne arrested subject in the 2100 block of W. State Hwy. business on an outstanding felony warrant.
Miscellaneous
On Oct.21, Haynie was dispatched to the 1200 block of S. Jefferson in regards to a traffic hazard.
On Oct. 21, Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline in regards to loud music. Officer searched the area and did not locate any loud music in the area.
On Oct. 22, Wostarek cited subject in the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 for possession of marijuana.
