La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Oct. 2-9.

Alarm

On Oct. 8, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Travis regarding an alarm.

Agency Assist

On Oct. 7, Investigator Troy Stevens assisted the Fayette County Sheriff’s office in the 300 block of Wood Hollow to execute a search warrant.

Animal Complaint

On Oct. 6, Officer Brett Meinardus took a report of a dog possibly being neglected in the 100 block of E. Milam.

Burglary

On Oct. 2, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Lafayette for a burglary.

On Oct. 4, Maxwell spoke with a subject in the 200 block of W. Travis regarding a burglary.

Criminal Mischief

On Oct. 2, Officer Thomas Keeney spoke with a caller in the 500 block of N. Jackson about damage to the building.

On Oct. 7, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 500 block of W. Lowerline in regards to criminal mischief.

Civil Matter

On Oct. 3, Maxwell spoke with subject regarding a civil matter in the 900 block of N. Madison.

Disturbance

On Oct. 2, Meinardus responded to the 100 block of E. Crockett for a disturbance. On Oct. 5, Currington was dispatched to the 1000 block of Von Minden for a possible disturbance. Upon arrival officer found no disturbance.

Found Property

Nov. 8, Anderson responded to the 700 block of S. Jackson regarding found property.

Gun Shots

On Oct. 7, Maxwell was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Washington for possible gunshots.

House Fire

On Oct. 2, Currington was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Camp for a house fire and provided assistance and traffic control.

Lost Item

On Oct. 6, Meinardus received a call from an individual stating they lost their wallet at Walmart.

Narcotics Complaint

On Oct. 4, Maxwell was dispatched to the 300 block of Wood Hollow regarding a narcotics complaint.

Public Intoxication

On Oct. 8, Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Vail regarding a subject that was possibly intoxicated.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

On Oct. 3, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Colorado in regards to a suspicious person. Officer upon arrival was unable to locate anyone.

On Oct. 5, Currington checked on a suspicious subject in the 100 block of E. Travis.

On Oct. 7, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 7 business in regards to subjects loitering and asking for money.

On Oct. 7, Currington was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Lee for a suspicious vehicle. Officer arrived and vehicle belonged there.

On Oct. 6, Currington was dispatched to the 1000 block of Hwy.159 for suspicious subject and vehicle. Officer arrived and asked subject to leave.

Theft

On Oct. 3, Maxwell spoke with subject about theft in the 600 block of N. Washington.

On Oct. 6, Keeney spoke with caller in the 100 block of S. Main in regards to theft.

On Oct. 7, Maxwell spoke with caller in regards to a phone that was stolen in the 800 block of S. Vail.

Trespassing

On Oct. 4, Maxwell spoke with complainant in the 500 block of W Lowerline in regards to a subject trespassing.

On Oct. 7, Officer Justin Koehne issued subjects a criminal trespass warning for trying to sell jewelry to customers in the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71.
