La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of July 16-22.

Accident

On July 17, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Jefferson for an accident with no injuries.

On July 19, Officer Timothy Medack was dispatched to the 300 block of S. Jefferson for an accident.

On July 19, Medack was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Mode for an auto accident.

On July 20, Medack responded to the 100 block of S. River for a vehicle accident.

Animal Complaint

On July 16, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Washington for an animal complaint.

On July 17, Animal Control Officer Dean Ahlschlager checked on a dog in the 300 block of E. Pecan.

On July 19, Ahlschlager picked up a tarantula in the 800 block of S. Jefferson.

On July 19, Ahlschlager picked up a snake in the 2000 block of N. Von Minden.

On July 20, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Roitsch in regard to an animal complaint.

On July 20, Chief David Gilbreath checked on the wellness of cats in the 900 block of Mode.

On July 20, Ahlschlager checked on a dog in the 2200 block of Hwy. 71 business, was unable to locate.

On July 21, Currington was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Travis for an animal left in a car.

Criminal Mischief

On July 17, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 900 block of E. Guadalupe for criminal mischief.

On July 18, Officer Curtis Zwahr spoke with a caller in regard to damage done to a window at the ballfield in the 1800 block of N. Jefferson.

On July 21, Currington was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline for criminal mischief.

Counterfeit Money

On July 17, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 400 block of N. Jefferson in response to counterfeit money. Civil Matter

On July 16, Zwahr spoke with a caller in regard to a civil matter in the 400 block of N. Horton.

On July 21, Officer Jeffrey Archerd was dispatched to the 400 block of Roitsch Lane in regard to a civil matter.

Disturbance

On July 16, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Pearl in regard to a family disturbance.

On July 17, Currington responded to the 400 block of S.

Vail for a disturbance.

On July 22, Keeney responded to the 600 block of E. Pecan in regard to a nonviolent family disturbance.

Found Property

On July 16, Medack spoke with a subject in regard to a stolen bike in the 200 block of E. Colorado.

On July 16, Zwahr found a cell phone in the roadway in the 100 block of E. Eblin.

Family Violence

On July 20, Maxwell was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Vine in regard to aggravated assault family violence.

Burglary

On July 20, Medack was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Lafayette in regard to a burglary of a building.

On July 21, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline in regard to a burglary in progress.

Harassment

On July 21, Keeney responded to the 800 block of N. Monroe for a harassment complaint.

Public Intoxication

On July 17, Currington was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. Travis for report of an intoxicated person.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle On July 16, Haynie checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass.

On July 16, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of Cindy Lane in regard to a suspicious vehicle.

On July 16, Zwahr checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of Mode Lane. Officer was unable to locate the driver.

On July 17, Maxwell checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Joe Hoeffer Circle.

On July 18, Keeney responded to the 500 block of W. Fairgrounds Road to a suspicious vehicle.

On July 18, Archerd was dispatched to the 500 block of Koenig Lane in regard to a suspicious person.

On July 18, Archerd was dispatched to the 100 block of N. College in regard to a suspicious person.

On July 19, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1600 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a suspicious person.

On July 21, Archerd was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis in regard to a suspicious person.

On July 21, Keeney responded to the 600 block of N. Sarah Jo in response to a suspicious person.

Theft

On July 20, Archerd was dispatched to the 1800 block of W. State Hwy 71 business in regard to a theft.

Welfare Check

On July 16, Haynie was dispatched to the 800 block of E Travis in regard to a welfare concern.

On July 16, Haynie was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Reynolds in regard to a welfare concern.

On July 16, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Alley in regard to a welfare concern.

On July 17, Maxwell was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a welfare concern.

On July 17, Maxwell was dispatched to the 400 block of S. Jefferson in regard to a welfare concern.

On July 20, Haynie spoke with a subject in the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding a welfare concern.

Miscellaneous

On July 6, Maxwell was dispatched to the 300 block of Woodhollow in regard to a possible hit and run.

On July 16, Zwahr spoke with a resident in the 700 block of E. Pearl about a juvenile complaint.

On July 20, Archerd was dispatched to the 100 lock of S. Reynolds in regard to identity theft.

On July 22, Currington was dispatched to the 1900 block of N. Hwy. 159 for wet concrete on highway. Highway department came and cleared road.
