Korean War Veterans Receive Quilts of Valor

Gilbert “Ray” Thurman, a US Air Force Korean veteran, received a Quilt of Valor made by The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild and presented to him by and through the La Grange American Legion Post 102 at the Post Christmas party on Dec. 14. Melvin is accompanied by his wife, Dorothy, and his daughter, Lorie and her husband, Brent Winkler.
