The John Everett Chapter, DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), and the Robert Rankin Chapter No. 62, SAR (Sons of the American Revolution), presented Jim Duffin, whose residence is located in Schulenburg, with the American flag display certificate for May.

Jim Duffin, a respected member of the American Legion in Schulenburg, served as a Marine in Vietnam from 1966 to 1969 and dedicated 32 years to law enforcement. His service spanned across the Houston Sheriff’s Department, Houston Police Department, and the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force.

He is a passionate flag advocate, proudly displaying the American Flag and the United States Marine Corps Flag. In his free time, Jim finds joy in working with his cattle, hunting, fishing, and most importantly, creating beautiful memories with his two grandchildren.
