It’s State Silver for Fayetteville Boys

The Fayetteville basketball team’s amazing season came to an end one win short of a state title as the Lions lost to Turkey Valley 66-48 Thursday in the Alamodome. It was the first state title game appearance for any Fayette County boys basketball team in 84 years. Here the team’s starting five hold the state runner-up trophy with their state silver medals around their necks.
