It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas – in Hostyn

Hostyn Hill Greenhouses hosted its annual Poinsettia Open House on Saturday, Nov. 26. Owner Doug Janda has been growing poinsettias every Christmas season since 1981. Janda said he’s growing about 10,000 of the colorful holiday plants this year. He expected about 200 people to visit his greenhouses on Saturday. The traditional Christmas plants will be on sale at Hostyn Hill through Christmas Day, Janda said.
