Iconic Building Being Remodeled

A remodel is underway at the old Boss’s Steak House building on W. Travis St. in La Grange.

Owner Luis Orostieta told the Record last week that workers are replacing the siding and remodeling the interior. He said the electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems will also be updated.

Orostieta, who also owns Las Fuentes Restaurant, said he has not yet decided what kind of business will go inside the building.

“We don’t know what we’re going to do yet, but it’s going to be nice,” he said. “It’ll be like a brand new building.”
