Hundreds Greet Santa’s Arrival by Train into La Grange Saturday

Over 300 people showed up to the La Grange train depot for their Christmas celebration Saturday. The Katy Flyer miniature train (above, right) ran non-stop for over a hour-and-a-half taking kids for rides. A Union Pacific Railroad train brought Santa right at

10 a.m. with Santa on the front of the locomotive waving to everyone saying “Merry Christmas!” Once he got off the train, a line stretched out the door of the depot and to the curb with kids and their parents wanting to visit with the big guy.
