Hostyn Festival Mass to Be Near Damaged Church
The Queen of the Holy Rosary Church at Hostyn still sits mostly untouched since an explosion destroyed the structure and killed a parishioner June 9 as investigation into the incident continues. This Sunday, the annual Hostyn Fall Festival will be held on the church grounds with Mass at 10 a.m. held under a tent in the church parking lot. A meal, music and games will continue all day after Mass. The public is invited to the festivities, which celebrate the 191st anniversary of the first Mass celebrated at Hostyn.
