Henneke Crowned 2023 Fayette Co. Fair Queen
The 2023 Fayette County Fair kicked off Thursday with a bang, as Harper Henneke was crowned Fayette County Fair Queen.
Henneke earned the crown by selling $29,645 in season passes. She was representing the La Grange Optimist Club.
She beat out a very competitive field.
This year’s total ticket sales exceeded the total from 2022 by $5,600.
Total season ticket sales this year was $109,859 from the five queen contestants and an additional $62,622 in carnival pass sales from five Jr. Miss contestants for a grand total of $172,481 in advance sales Total sales from all carnival tickets and season tickets for 2023 is the most sales of a court since 2015 when ZZ Top was the fair headliner.
First runner up for Fair Queen was Camryn Alvarado, who sold $25,130 in season passes representing the Kyla Faith Memorial.
Second Runner-up for Fair Queen was Andrea Ortiz, who sold $23,660 in season passes and was representing the Fayette Co. Sheriff’s Posse.
Junior Miss Fayette County, selling a record in carnival passes totaling $24,990 was Anabella Dela Rosa.
Jr. Miss First runner-up was Beba Pavlica.
Other awards given out Thursday night included: Reagan Arlund was crowned Little Miss Fayette County and Branson Moerbe was the Little Mister winner.
Runner-up Little Miss and Mister were Patsy Lemus and Leonardo Martinez.
