Hazard Mitigation Public Meeting

Laura Haverlah of H2O Partners gave a presentation about Fayette County’s Hazard Mitigation Plan during a sparsely-attended public hearing at the Fayette County EMS Headquarters in La Grange on Wednesday, Jan. 3. Public officials from around the County attended a private meeting with H2O Partners earlier Wednesday afternoon. The Hazard Mitigation Plan identifies potential risks associated with natural disasters in the County and specifies ways local agencies can deal with those risks. H2O Partners is developing a new Hazard Mitigation Plan for the County.
