Halloween Laser Tag Returns to LG
Fayette County Habitat for Humanity will bring back it’s “Hab-O-Ween” Laser Tag for the second year in a row in La Grange from Oct. 27-30. The activity takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. each day at the Fayette County Fairgrounds. The Halloween-themed laser tag arena will be set up inside Country Store area of the Fair Event Center. Each round of laser tag costs $10 and lasts 15 minutes. Each round will include 10 players (player vs. player or two teams of five).
There will be a waiting area set up with movies, board games, hot dog and more for players to enjoy while waiting for their round of laser tag.
“We feel like the community needs something like this for the kids at Halloween,” said Habitat’s executive director, Kenny Couch. “We didn’t make a ton of profit from it last year, but the kids had a great time. We’re treating this as more of a service project for the community.”
Couch said Habitat will set aside some laser tag time for the special needs young folks from And Then a New Day and Turtle Wing. He said volunteers from Fayette County Community Theater will help set up the arena. In addition, Couch said volunteers from local youth groups will assist Habitat with staffing the event.
