Gutierrez Family Buying Hengst Printing

As of March 1, La Grange residents Fernando and Brandi Gutierrez of YM Apparel and Designs are buying Hengst Printing and Office Supplies and combining the two businesses into one new entity – LG Print Co.

“We want to be the one stop shop for all your printing needs,” Fernando said. “We can’t wait to continue our service to this wonderful community we call home.”

The new business will continue to operate out of the 155 W. Travis St. location, where Don and Sandra Hengst have run their printing business for the past 46 years.

YM Apparel will close its facility at 107 W Colorado St. in La Grange as of March 1.

Both families said the new entity is a natural outgrowth of a partnership the two printing companies forged over the last couple of years working together on projects.

The Hengsts plan to stay on for a month after March 1 to help coordinate the transition.

“And all Hengst employees are remaining,” Fernando said.
