Goehring and Polasek Are Top Grads at RT-C

On Thursday, May 4 Round Top-Carmine High School hosted its Academic Banquet to award high school seniors with financial scholarships and graduation honors. So far, the senior class of 2023, comprised of 12 students, earned approximately $63,400 for post high school education including academics or trades.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the faculty and staff, and our community, the administrators of Round Top-Carmine Independent School District are proud to announce the Honor Graduates of the Class of 2023. Kannyn Goehring has earned recognition as Valedictorian. Kannyn is the son of Blake and Christie Goehring and plans to attend Texas A&M University to major in Kinesiology. The honor of Salutatorian has been awarded to Jacob Polasek. Jacob is the son of Dana and the late Michael Polasek and plans to attend Texas State Technical College and major in plumbing.

Additionally, RTCISD recognizes the following Honor Graduates.

Somerlin Coil, Rylee Handy, Leonardo Montecillo Navarrete, Sophie Rauch, Hunter Schobel, Rylan Stork and Charlee Wessels.

Commencement exercises are scheduled for May 26, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Round Top Festival Institute.
