Goats and Heifers Kick Off Fair Week

  • Folks attending the Fayette County Fair Junior Commercial Heifer Show at the Fairgrounds this Saturday got treated to some goat roping. About 200 teams got in on the action, which capped off a very successful Junior Commercial Heifer Sale. Organizer Lee Fritsch said 134 bred heifers sold in the show at an average price of $2,691.
