The sounds of silence reign, Through our land, Highways no longer whine, But man does.

The woodpecker thumps, The birds sing, The grass and woods grow, Deer free roam, But men don’t.

The sounds of silent men Huddle away from kin, Cause Mama Nature sent Tiny bugs to bend man. Virus kills a virus, The world’s biggest plague----man; The sounds of silence reign, Throughout our land.
