Four LG City Manager Finalists Selected

The La Grange City Council selected four finalists for the vacant City Manager position during a special meeting Monday night, Dec. 4.

The four finalists are:

• Chris Jarmon, an assistant city manager for the City of Liberty,

• Jack Thompson, an assistant city manager for the City of Crowley,

• Kyle Jung, the former city manager for the City of Manvel, and

• Mike Castro, the former city manager for the City of Murphy.

Interim City Manager Frank Menefee said Council selected these four from 11 semi-finalists that applied for the job. Menefee said the City has tentatively scheduled interviews with the four on Dec. 11. He said the finalist will take a tour of city facilities with interviews to follow.

Menefee said he did not know when Council would make a final decision.
