Enjoyable Bridge Playing
A group of serious bridge players are enjoying playing duplicate bridge on Wednesday afternoons at the Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club in La Grange. The group would like to expand the number of people regularly involved, offering to more people the considerable pleasure of friendly but serious bridge-playing in an organized and very collegial situation. In duplicate bridge the hands are played the same way as in regular (contract or party) bridge, and the scoring for each hand is the same. Anyone who is accustomed to playing bridge can adapt to playing duplicate bridge in just a few minutes. If you and your partner enjoy concentrating on the game when you play bridge, you will probably find playing bridge with us to be very enjoyable. If you would like to play but do not have a regular partner, please let us know. Send an email call with your contact information and any questions you have to Jim Heathman at heathman2@zochnet.com or (979) 884-6014 orArnold Romberg at faromberg@gmail.com or (512) 422-0149.
