Food Pantry Served Record Number Here In November
December is a month of celebration with friends and family as we all look forward to the festive time of the year. The food pantry provides relief to those individuals that have the need. There is not a food shortage, however an income shortage that has individuals choose groceries or not pay the rent. The volume of clients served was the largest in AMEN food pantry’s history. The month of November 401 families were served with a headcount of 1,204 served. The donated food was 11,956 pounds. The volunteers that assisted were 148 and they contributed 420 hours.
