Brylee Brugger took the Smartypants section of The Fayette County Record on vacation. She is sitting at the mouth of the Caloosahatchie River at Fort Myers Beach in Florida. Brylee will be in the 7th grade at La Grange Middle School and is the daughter of Chris and Laura Brugger and granddaughter of Mike and Maxine Brugger and Lucille Koehl and the late Emil Koehl. -
Food Bank Truck in Waldeck June 15 -
Peyton James of Ellinger graduated Thursday, May 23, from La Grange High School. He plans to attend Blinn in the fall. Peyton’s proud parents are Teri and Jeff James.
The Central Texas Food Bank Truck will be at the Waldeck Lutheran Church located at the junction of FM 1291 and FM 2145 on Saturday, June 15 from 10-11 a.m. Food distribution will be a drive through method. Volunteers will distribute and load the pre-boxed food into each vehicle as each recipient drives through the line. Recipients will need to clean out the back seats, truck and truck beds to make room for the food.
Shared Lutheran Ministry
Pastor Jen Kindsvatter’s installation will be on Sunday, June 2 in Rutersville. Service will be at 4 p.m. and meal to follow. Come welcome Pastor Jen to SLM.
Ladies of every age are invited to a special Tea Party and Brunch at St. John in Rutersville on June 22.
Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.
Brethren Church
Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.
